From Devizes take the A361 towards Beckhampton. After about a mile before dual carriageway by Cannings Hill Garage take the second exit off roundabout towards Horton. This road will take you through Horton and the small hamlet of Allington. Carry on passing the turning to All Cannings until you come to a turn off to Stanton St Bernard on right. Take the opposite farm track that takes you up to the hills. After about a mile you will come to mdmb carpark on the left.

Leave Marlbourgh on the A4 west bound. Turn left to Lockeridge (also sign posted to the "Who'd A Thought It" pub). Continue through Lockeridge until you reach the cross roads at the bottom of the hill at Alton Barnes. At this cross roads go right, taking you toward Bishops Cannings and Devizes. This road will run along side the hills on the right with the white horse carved in the hills. Continue along this road for about a mile past the turning on the left to Stanton St Bernard until you come to a second turning on the left to Stanton. Take the farm track opposite. Go for about a mile untll you reach the car park on the left for mdmb.
